Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that Israel will take more steps to curb the spread of the coronavirus as up to 100,000 people are already in isolation. A retroactive restriction, from the date of return to Israel, will require any person returning from Switzerland, Spain, France, Germany or Austria to begin a 14 day quarantine. Entrance to Israel will not be permitted by foreigners from these countries without proof of a location in which they can be quarantined for the 14 days. Foreign travelers that visited Iraq, Iran, Lebanon or Syria within 14 days prior to visiting Israel will not be permitted entrance.
