Australian health minister Greg Hunt said today that 75 citizens have confirmed cases of COVID-19 and a second person has died from the disease. The Guardian reported that the second death from the virus yesterday was an 82-year-old Sydney man.
A visitor to the country from Indonesian also has a confirmed case of coronavirus and authorities are trying to track down passengers on her Virgin Airways flight as well as patrons of a Vietnamese restaurant where she dined after arriving. Two members of the Australian Defence Force have also tested positive for the disease.
